50% of Ecuadorian children are beaten, locked up, thrown in freezing water, and verbally humiliated.

These are the typical forms of punishment in their homes. They are considered normal by government agencies.

Let that sink in. At least half of the children in Ecuador have suffered severe trauma while in the care of the people that are supposed to be protecting them. Half of Ecuadorian children will be raised to believe that those methods of punishment are reasonable, acceptable, and normal.

We can change that.
